Mitchell & Stark Construction Co., Inc. opened its first office in Florida in 1981.  This office is located in Naples.  In 2007 a second office was opened in Fort Myers.  Most of our projects have been in the following counties: Collier, Lee, Hendry, Charlotte, Glades, Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto.  In southwest Florida, we have expertise with water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, road, and golf course projects.  We also provide several utilities with emergency services for Collier County and the City of Marco Island.

Over forty of our employees are dedicated to estimating, purchasing, expediting, detailing & engineering, field supervision & engineering, and layout.  About three-fourths of those are based out of our Naples office and the rest out of our Fort Myers office.
Our operation in Florida is non-union, but our personnel is well-trained, hardworking, and reliable.  We have an excellent group of over 60 crew leaders, foremen, & superintendents leading our field employees.  We also employ equipment operators, lowboy & off-road dump truck drivers, mechanics, carpenters, pipe layers, and laborers.  The daily efforts of our over 300 dedicated employees, whether at the job site, in the shop, on the road, or in the office, are why we are able to fulfill our customers' project needs so well. 

We are able to construct all types and sizes of projects.  We have been called upon by local entities to perform work that no other company could handle.  Our experienced field personnel and our committed team of professionals keep us ready to serve our clients year after year.
